Video: Lance Armstrong appears in video for song all about PEDs by a former Rage Against The Machine bassist

There is a lot of swearing here, so stick the headphones in

Hot on the heels of his BBC interview, Lance has popped up again today, in a most unexpected way

After what felt like a long time out of the limelight, Lance Armstrong is back with a vengeance. Only yesterday he appeared on the BBC to say that he would definitely cheat again if he had a chance to go back to 1995 again and today he has made a cameo in a very unusual music video.

Tim Commerford, bass player with Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave, has released a new song with his current group Future User all about the PED culture in the US. And wouldn’t you know it, Lance Armstrong makes an appearance.

The video centres on a skater who uses a whole host of drugs to improve, or more likely not improve, his performance and near the end he gets a very menacing, and foul-mouthed, voice message from the disgarced cyclist, telling him to ‘step the f*ck off, this is Lance’.

Satire, social commentary or Lance just embracing his reputation? Who knows, but we doubt we’ll see a weirder sport/music crossover in 2015.
