We like to consider ourselves pretty handy with a table tennis bat but we thought an innocent game of round the table was as good as it got.
Not so.
The World Table Tennis Championships final last night threw up the most ridiculous rally we've ever seen and, after watching it closely around 16 times so far, we're still not too sure how the hell it happened.
Ma Long beat Chinese compatriot Fa Bong in the final (4-2) in Suzhou but he lost out in this mammoth rally between the pair in the decider.
It's fast, it's spinning, it's absolute chaos but both finalists manage to keep the ball in play long after physics should really have played its part and put a logical and natural stop to the rally.
Fa is the real winner for surviving this incredible piece of sport.
