We’re sure Tom already has a garage full of cars but he made good on his promise

Part of the prize for being named as the MVP of the Super Bowl is a sweet new truck from Chevrolet. This year, New England Patriots QB won the award for leading his team to victory over the Seattle Seahawks but Brady asked the car manufacturer if they could give the truck to team-mate Malcolm Butler instead.

Butler was the man who made the game winning interception on the goal-line at the death and the rookie defensive back is now the best known rookie in the league, plus he has a sweet new car.

Yesterday, Chevrolet delivered the truck, worth $35,000, to Butler, who posed for snaps with the truck.

“Tom is a great guy for doing that,” Butler said to ESPN. “We had a meeting, and he was just like ‘Congratulations on the big play. You can get the keys to that truck.’ … I couldn’t have done all that without my teammates, so I’m just thankful to have the truck.”

The assembled press also asked Butler if he was a ‘truck guy’. “I think I am now,” was his very diplomatic, and smart, reply.
