Phil Taylor is probably the most down-to-earth sportsman on the planet.
The world famous darts player was on a short visit to Limerick last night where he took in an exhibition match at a local hotel.
Some lucky local players got the chance to try their arm against the 16-times World Champion in what by all accounts was a brilliant night on Shannonside.
And afterwards Taylor decided to take in some local culture, and cuisine, at one of the most famous chippers not only in Ireland, but surely on a global scale.
Anyone who has ever been out in Limerick has heard of Donkey Ford’s and it seems that that ‘The Power’ is a big fan too.
