Novak Djokovic has defeated Andy Murray in the Australian Open final… again.

The Serbian has now won three Australian Open finals against Murray, winning this morning’s game 7-6 (7-5) 6-7 (7-4) 6-3 6-0. Murray had fought back from losing the first set to win the second on a tie break, but then began to gradually fade before completely collapsing in the final set.

The game lasted over three and a half hours and Murray appeared physically and mentally exhausted in the final set as the Scot was unable to prevent Djokovic winning his fifth Australian Open title. The world number one is now only the second man to win five or more times at the Melbourne tournament, and has now won eight Grand Slam titles in total.

Murray has now lost six of the eight Grand Slam finals he’s featured in, and all four in Australia.
