What made this Lightning fan think it was okay to pack heat at a playoff game?

Police in Tampa, Florida were forced to confront and arrest an ice hockey fan who brought a gun to a Stanley Cup playoff game. The Lightning beat Montreal Canadiens 2-1 to boost their cup chances and played on, unaware of the gunslinger in the Analie Arena stands. As 1o News Florida report, the man was only charged with a misdemeanour as he had a licence to carry a concealed weapon. A Detroit Red Wings supporter had, the previous week at the Analie Arena, been arrested for his own safety after setting a Lightning flag alight in an act of provocation/stupidity.
