We’re looking for top notch Sports Journalists to join the SportsJOE team.

On video, on audio, and in the written word, SportsJOE is operating across multiple platforms to deliver the best creative and original sporting content.

What you’ll be doing
- Producing creative, multi-media content.
- Delivering original news and reacting to breaking stories.
- On the field at live events and conferences to find unique angles to report the best material in real time.
- Writing top quality feature pieces.
- Bringing new and exciting ideas to be executed in the written word and on broadcast.
- Managing SportsJOE social media channels with flair and enthusiasm.
- Supplying the demand for good and extensive coverage around big games and tournaments with an understanding of the fast pace of the industry.
Other requirements
- An ability to be flexible and work evenings and weekends.
- A desire to work in a team and liase with other departments in the company.
- A willingness to manage the site and the brand’s various platforms on your own when required.
Your skills and qualifications
- At least 2+ years relevant industry experience.
- An acclaimed portfolio of published work.
- Mastery of WordPress and different social media apps.
- Understanding of journalistic principles and practices.
- Great attention to detail.
- Experience producing clean copy under tight deadlines.
- Ability to take ideas from creation to execution, across multiple disciplines.
