Abbie Herlihy isn’t meant to be playing ladies football.
She has a condition called juvenile arthritis that makes it almost impossible. But through the support of her club Knocknagree, through the help of her family and through her own will and dedication, she still plays the game she loves.
From the outside, she is just like every other girl at training.
In reality, she is living life and playing through an invisible illness. Constant aches and pains, physio and medication, she comes through them all just to continue playing Ladies football.
