Paddy McBrearty is one of the most talented forwards in the country.
The Cill Chartha attacker has been playing intercounty football since 2011 and continues to show why he is one of the premier forwards in Gaelic Football with a beautiful goal against Meath on Sunday. The ball was played in low to him and in one foul swoop he turned his marker, scooped the ball up - without bending down - before charging his way towards goal and blasting the ball into the back of the net. https://twitter.com/officialgaa/status/1150396591968272385 McBrearty was one of five Donegal forwards to score in the first-half against Meath as the The Tír Conaill Men really start to shape their attack under Declan Bonner. Last year their attack began to become more disciplined whereby the would team slow the ball up until they're set up in attack, keep possession in the opposition half, go sideways and back if an obvious attack isn't on and, one by one, begin to drag defenders out of their shape. They have evolved under Bonner but sometimes a genius like McBrearty can just produce moments of brilliance. He certainly didn't disappoint on Sunday.Explore more on these topics:
