Ireland's latest AFL recruit made his first appearance this morning.
Former Kildare footballer Paddy Brophy came off the bench to feature for the West Coast Eagles, as they defeated the AFL Indigenous All-Stars 49-41 in Perth.
Brophy, who turns 21 on Sunday, was named on the Eagles' match squad for the first time since signing in the Autumn, and wore number 46 as he became the first ever International rookie to appear for the club.
The Eagles trailed by 10 points at halftime, with Brophy among a number of young second half replacements who eventually steered them to a win in the exhibition game.
And it seems Brophy has been touching up on his farmers tan in the pre-season heat of Western Australia.
