If you hit a wayward pass, you'd want to hope that it doesn't end up at Paddy McCourt's feet.
Ballymena United's Danny Wallace learned this lesson the hard way during his side's loss to Glenavon in the NIFL Premiership on Saturday. Taking possession on the left channel, Wallace miscued his pass towards the centre of the park where McCourt was there waiting to pounce. The Celtic cult hero took a touch inside his own half, then he took an even tastier touch with his backheel before playing in Eoin Bradley with a perfectly-weighted through-ball on the turf that left Bradley with a one-on-one with the keeper. He would have done that wonderful pass a disservice if he didn't bury.
