I can't remember the last time I saw somebody kick a football as hard as this.
It may have been a Julian Dicks penalty sometime in the mid 90s, but at least he only had to belt it from 12 yards out. With his side trailing 2-1 against Villareal, Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka stepped up to a free kick from 25 yards out, and took out all of his frustrations on the poor, defenceless football.
