Transfer rumours: Juventus enter the race to sign Raheem Sterling

The Sun say they've joined the race to sign Liverpool's unsettled attacker Raheem Sterling, and could fork out big to sign the 20-year-old. Sterling has been linked with Europe's good and great since turning down a £100,000 a week contract offer from the Reds this month, and now it looks like the Italian champions are throwing their names into the hat. The paper says that with Paul Pogba potentially heading for a big-money Premier League move, Juve could have some cash to splash on a marquee summer signing. The Daily Mail say the Sterling is one of as many as 10 players who could be leaving Anfield this summer. While Brendan Rodgers is keen to keep the England International, there are plenty of players he deems surplus to requirements, as he looks to give the squad a major gutting at the end of the season. Steven Gerrard's departure has been confirmed for some time, while both Kolo Toure and Glen Johnson could leave the club on free transfers. Martin Skrtel's future is also being considered, with Wolfsburg interested in the Slovakian. Javi Manquillo is set to return to Spain after his season-long loan, and a trio of strikers could also depart Anfield, with Mario Balotelli's nightmare at the club set to end, and both Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert failing to impress this season. One player who could be coming in the Anfield gates is Memphis Depay. The Dutch winner scored a stunning goal as PSV won the Dutch title at the weekend, and The Express say Liverpool will go toe-to-toe with Manchester United to secure his signature. The winger is rated as high as £25m, but it could become even more, with the interest of a few clubs set to trigger a bidding war. Depay is seen as the number one target for Liverpool, and want him to line up alongside Raheem Sterling, rather than replace him. Juventus may be about to hijack a move for Manchester United and Chelsea target Miranda, according to Gazzatta Dello Sport. The Atletico Madrid defender's contract is due expire at the end of next season, and the Premier League sides were both keen to land the Brazilian on the cheap. However, Juve have now weighed on for the player, and may sway him to Italy. One Manchester United rumour that won't go away though is the chatter linking David De Gea to Real Madrid. The Mirror say the United's players are fearful the 24-year-old could move to the European Champions, and sections of the Old Trafford dressing room are convinced he'll be based in Madrid next season. De Gea has been one of United's key players this season, and the keeper was last week nominated for the PFA Players' Player of the Year. It's thought United are hoping to hold out for as much as £50m, should Real try to lure him home. Another £50m price tag is being placed on the head of a player according to the Mirror. They say that Chelsea target Koke is being valued at £50m by Atletico Madrid. The Blues are believed to be big fans of the Spanish International, and are also keen to offer left back Felipe Luis a return to Atletico, after he failed to impress in his first season at the club. Koke has been watched by Chelsea's technical director Michael Emenalo, but Atletico are determined to milk as much as possible out of the club. Man City are eager to land Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne, but The Telegraph say that Bayern Munich are favourites to land the Belgian. De Bruyne was signed by Wolfsburg for £15m last January, but has impressed for both club and country since, with the club potentially selling him for as much as £45m. City are believed to be keen on bringing him back to the Premier League, but they say the Bayern Munich look to be the most likely destination for the midfielder, should he leave Wolfsburg. Everton have joined the race to sign QPR striker Charlie Austin, as they look to improve their striking options. The Mirror say the 17 goal striker will be sold by QPR in the summer, regardless of whether they avoid relegation or not. Newcastle and Southampton are also believed to be keeping tabs on the Englishman, but it's though Everton are now expected to bid.
