Liverpool might have only won 2-0 against Sunderland this weekend, but the scoreline doesn't tell the full story of the Merseyside club's impressive display.
Despite losing Philippe Coutinho in the first half, the Reds registered 27 shots and had 77% possession en route to a win which keeps them within touching distance of league leaders Chelsea.
But there are two other stats from the weekend which give even more of an impression of the dominance enjoyed by Jürgen Klopp's team, even if they left it relatively late to break the deadlock.
Captain Jordan Henderson - playing against his former club - created six chances over the course of the game, more than any other player in the Premier League this weekend.

However, perhaps even more impressively, no fewer than *four* Liverpool players were among the five players with the most completed passes in Saturday and Sunday's games, with only Manchester United's Ander Herrera coming close to Henderson's total of 115.

The news will come as a boost to Reds fans still concerned about the loss of Coutinho, who is likely to be ruled out until January with an ankle injury.
Coutinho's replacement on Saturday, Divock Origi, opened the scoring at Anfield before James Milner's late penalty sealed all three points for the hosts.
