We'll level with you - we don't know an awful lot about the video below or how it came to be.
What we do know is that when you see the words "Per Mertesacker's Australian accent is the single best thing in the world," you sit up and take note. And that's precisely why we're showing you this. We're *pretty* sure it's new, but to be honest it doesn't really matter, does it? What matters is that this is a video of Arsenal trio Per Mertesacker, Santi Cazorla and Carl Jenkinson pretending to be Australians... and it's bloody fantastic. Mocked up to look like they're sitting on an Aussie beach, the video begins with Cazorla keeping watch over a barbecue. Having tossed a sausage to his German team-mate, a cricket bat-wielding Carl Jenkinson joins them, asking how they're doing. 'Sweet,' they reply, before Mertesacker rounds things off by commenting: 'Gotta love an Aussie Christmas'.
