South American football scrap makes Chelsea vs. Spurs look like child’s play

Chelsea's Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur might have got a little heated, but it was nothing compared to Tuesday night's Copa Libertadores action.

South America's equivalent of the Champions League has reached the last 16 stage, and one of the first knock-out matches got more than a little heated. Argentinian team Huracan travelled to Colombia to face Atletico Nacional after a goalless first leg, and the hosts ended up progressing after a 4-2 victory. Visiting defender Federico Mancinelli was the only player sent off during the game, seeing red with the scores level at 1-1. However, unsavoury scenes followed the final whistle, with kicks and punches thrown. The Colombian champions will take their place in the quarter-finals, where they will face Argentina's Rosario Central or Brazilian outfit Gremio, but both they and Huracan could yet face further disciplinary action. https://twitter.com/goleada_info/status/727690041582075904
