If you forgot Manchester United's Europa League game kicked off at 6:00pm, you might well have missed one of the goals of the season.
Fenerbahçe are United's opponents for the early game, and the biggest story before the match got underway was that former Red Devil Robin van Persie was only on the bench.
But perhaps Dick Advocaat knew something we didn't, as the man starting in Van Persie's place - Moussa Sow - scored one of the best goals we've ever seen since the tournament was rebranded from its previous guise as the UEFA Cup.
There looked to be little on as the ball came in towards Sow on the edge of the box. There didn't even look to be a *shot* on, let alone a goal of this quality.

It conjured up memories of a goal scored by West Ham's Dean Ashton at Old Trafford back in 2008, and those watching the game were lost for words after witnessing a goal of that quality so early on.

Defeat in Turkey would leave United in trouble as they look to make it out of their group.
Having already lost in Rotterdam to Feyenoord, failure to pick up any points in their second away game would leave them with a lot to do in their last two group matches.

This would be incredible! Right now, Nathan Collins’ focus is Ireland and Brentford, with the centre back captaining both sides. And this will be his focus for at least the next decade, as the Leixlip man is still just 24. However, in an interview with the BBC, he spoke about his early roots in the […]
