Jeff Stelling takes a very cheeky dig at BT Sport on Soccer Saturday

What the hell have we done all summer without Jeff Stelling in our lives on a Saturday afternoon?

The Soccer Saturday stalwart has brought us some brilliant comedy moments down the years. Who could forget the time when he handled a phone call live on air like a boss? Or the time when he ripped the piss out of Chris Kamara for not having a clue what was going on in the Portsmouth game. The man is pure comedy gold every Saturday when the football season is in full swing. But the action hadn't even started this Saturday afternoon on the first day of the new football league and Stelling was up to his old tricks. The Sky Sports presenter felt the need to welcome the "rivals on the other channel BT Sport", before he went savage on their sports broadcasting arch nemesis. "There's nothing like a bit of good, healthy competition, he began. "And they're on the air at 2:30." Then came the killer blown from Sky Sports' football heavyweight as he said: "Oh sorry, I've just heard that even though it's the start of the football season today, they're not bothering 'til next week when the Premier League starts. But in your own time boys." https://twitter.com/ThePuntersPage/status/761936186973749249 Brutal stuff from Stelling, but it had fans of the show cracking up... https://twitter.com/Kashmir4/status/761933788351987712 https://twitter.com/H0mAns111/status/761931791313801216 https://twitter.com/LZAsupreme/status/761931510589091840 https://twitter.com/TheWelshLadYT/status/761931612196073472 https://twitter.com/JRileyyy/status/761931339314696192 https://twitter.com/Tweeterphile_/status/761930194315780096 https://twitter.com/JJPeerks/status/761941322697674752
