Wilshere captained Arsenal in the first-leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, and impressed in the goalless first-half.

However, he was forced-off injured just a few minutes into the second-half following a seemingly innocuous incident with Danny Drinkwater.
The Chelsea midfielder's cross was blocked by Wilshere. The ball went out for a corner, and Wilshere went down to the ground to receive treatment on his ankle from the Arsenal medical team.

A few minutes later, he was replaced by Mohamed Elneny and Arsenal fans were left fearing that the midfielder might be facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Hopefully his substitution was just a precaution and the player can get back on the pitch soon.
