Given that the stadium (by European final standards) is the size of a garden shed, the majority of those Liverpool fans who have travelled to Basel for the Europa League will be fully aware they won't be watching the game from within St Jakob-Park.

But is this going to stop them enjoying themselves? Nope, definitely not. Tens of thousands of Liverpool supporters have descended on the Swiss city over the last couple of days and, with hours to go until kick off in their match against Sevilla, Reds supporters were making their presence felt in the city centre. https://twitter.com/joeloboitv/status/732927406684708864 https://twitter.com/rtim_94/status/732918982039220224 https://youtu.be/rnhd2A9c9fM Swiss police have indicated that they're prepared for as many as 100,000 Liverpool supporters in the city at the time of the match, a whopping 88,000 more than the ridiculously low allocation of 12,000 that the club were given for the final. A victory for Jurgen Klopp's side wouldn't just secure them another European trophy, but would also secure them a place in next season's Champions League. Their opponents Sevilla are looking to win their third Europa League title on the bounce and were the first team to benefit from the automatic entry into the Champions League following their win over Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (try spelling that one without using Google) last season.
