The former Leeds United and Republic of Ireland defender announced today that he's hanging up his boots.
The 37 year old spent last season with Bournemouth, but was released this summer with the club being promoted to the Premier League.

Harte played 63 times for Ireland, between 1996 and 2007, scoring an impressive 12 goals from left-back, and was renowned for being a dead ball specialist.

The Drogheda native was part of the Leeds team which reached the Champions League semi-final in 2001, and spent the past time in Spain with Levante, as well as Sunderland, Reading and Carlisle United
