It didn’t take long for the game’s first yellow card.
It has been a hugely physical first half at Thomond Park, as expected.
The game has been played in wonderful sunny conditions in Limerick.
Munster got off to the best possible start after tighthead prop John Ryan burrowed over from close range.
The 28-year-old touched down just beside the posts which give Tyler Bleyendaal the easiest of opportunities to make it 7-0.
Bleyendaal then made 10-0 with a penalty after 10 minutes.
All these points came when Toulouse were down to 14 men after François Cros was sin binned for a late hit on Duncan Williams.
Williams had just after executed a box-kick when the 23-year-old came steaming through on the scrum-half while leading with the elbow.
The elbow caught Williams on the upper chest and the Cork man did very well to get back on his feet.
Referee JP Doyle consulted his TMO and after reviewing the video evidence, had no choice to send the number eight to the bin.

It seems obvious that the French side want to put pressure on the scrum-half who was a late inclusion at the expense of Conor Murray but it proved costly as they conceded 10 points in the process.
