Julian Savea loves a hat-trick. Just ask Ireland.
The All Blacks winger scorched one in on his Test debut against us, in 2012. Since then, he's been pretty damned handy. He was the leading try-scorer at a triumphant World Cup, last autumn.
Savea, as he has admitted himself, enjoyed the post-World Cup celebrations and returned to pre-season overweight.
His coaches, at Wellington Hurricanes, were far from pleased and dropped him for a few games.
Savea returned to first team action, today, and only went and scored a hat-trick. Typical.
Jaguares looked up for the fight, in 'Welly', but Hurricanes high-tempo game and lightning quick backs were too much for them.
And Savea? Sensational.
