The EPRC have handed a one week ban to Saracens' flanker Jacques Burger after he was found guilty of striking Racing Metro's Maxime Machenaud in the head on Sunday.
The incident, which happened 40 minutes into Saracens' 12-11 win against the French side on Sunday, wasn't spotted by referee Nigel Owens, and Burger was cited yesterday.
The Namibian pleaded guilty to the offence, and Judicial Officer Simon Thomas imposed a one week ban, deeming it to be on the low end of the entry level.
The offence usually carries a two week suspension, but it was reduced to one due to Burger's guilty plea and expression of remorse.
He will miss his side's Premiership clash with Leicester this weekend, but will crucially be available to face Clermont on Saturday week.
Here's a vine of the incident, we'll leave it to you to make up your own mind.
