Connacht picked up their first win against Munster in six years this evening, moving level on points with Leinster with a 24-16 defeat of Munster at the Sportsground
Despite trailing 13-0, Pat Lam's side came back in stunning fashion, scoring three tries to deny Munster a losing bonus point.
The turning point of the game was in the first half, when Connacht scrum-half Kieran Marmion finished off a fantastic Connacht move to score under the posts, and get the comeback up and running.
Marmion started the move before Craig Ronaldson's chip was taken superbly by Robbie Henshaw, and Marmion provided the perfect support run to finish off a fantastic team try.
In the second half they pushed on with the wind at their backs, and further tries from Ronaldson and Aly Muldowney set up a fantasticeight point win, maintaining their unbeaten run at home this season.
