Ulster and Ireland duo Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding, along with a third man, have been interviewed by the Police Service of Northern Ireland over alleged sexual offences.

The BBC have reported that both men were interviewed by the PSNI over reported incidents alleged to have taken place on June 28 at a property in south Belfast.

Jackson and Olding were released from custody following questioning, according to the BBC.

The PSNI have confirmed in a statement that a file will be prepared for submission to the Public Prosecution Service.

Jackson wasn’t included in the 27-man Ireland squad to face New Zealand this Saturday in Chicago due to “personal reasons.”

Both men deny any wrongdoing. Jackson’s solicitor, Kevin Winters, said his client completely rejected the allegations. Winters also expressed concern that the information had been leaked to the press before the conclusion of the investigation.
