What have you done for me lately, Guy?
That seems to be the attitude that French rugby team Toulouse have towards Guy Noves, who leaves the club after 22 years to take over from Philippe Saint-Andre as French coach after the World Cup.
Noves built an unprecedented dynasty in Toulouse, leading the French club to nine Top 14 titles and a record four European Cups. On top of that, he also captured the Bouclier de Brennus twice as a player with Toulouse.
His tenure ended with a loss in the Top 14 semi-final to Clermont two weeks ago, and you would have assumed that the club would do everything possible to honour Noves for his service.
Well, not so, according to French rugby paper Midi Olympique. Apparently, Toulouse seized his club possessions as if he was a fired employee.

Despite winning so much during his time in charge, the last few years have been a bit leaner for Noves as Toulouse haven't won a trophy in the last three seasons. Also, Toulouse clashed with the French union throughout Noves' tenure so perhaps they are angry at their man for joining the dark side.
Regardless, it was an extremely classless way to treat the man who built one of the greatest club teams in the world.

Very fair from the Ireland boss. Scotland came to the Aviva Stadium with a Six Nations title on their minds, but these dreams were firmly put to down bed by an Ireland side who were on top from minute one to 80. Aside from the stellar displays from most of the players, another aspect of […]
Another top performance! Our Ireland player ratings as Andy Farrell’s men put in a six-try performance to defeat Scotland. Tom O’Toole – 8.5 The Ulsterman’s switch to loosehead looks to be paying real dividends with another great showing in the scrum, the highlight of which was an early penalty that led to Jamie Osborne’s try.
