Munster had a nervy end to their game against Ulster at Thomond Park as they relied on an Ian Humphreys' conversion miss at the death to secure the 21-20 win.
The home side got most of their work done in the middle portion of the game, falling 12-0 behind in the first half before rallying with 21 unanswered points, including tries from Robin Copeland and Duncan Williams.
Stephen Archer's sin-binning left Munster to defend their lead with 14 men and just as the result seemed to be in the bag for Anthony Foley's men, Ian Humphreys sealed a penalty to put just a converted try between the sides.
And the Ulster try arrived after former Munster player Nick Williams went over on 79 minutes but Humphreys conceded to the pressure conversion that left Ulster just short of the win.
The narrow victory puts Munster to the top of the PRO12 table, for a few hours at least as Ospreys can move past them with a win over Leinster tomorrow.
The bonus point for Ulster leaves them second.
