Munster coach Anthony Foley says he has no intention of snuffing out Francis Salli's creative spark.
The All Blacks centre will join the southern province next season and created a stir in Irish rugby. Fans searching for clips of the Auckland Blues man in action will have come across a collection of videos featuring his acting, and comedic talents.
Foley said, 'Francis coming in gives us good balance in midfield, he's left legged and can play 12 or 13 in midfield. He's got good hands and ability to beat someone, he's got a bit of X-Factor and he's also a very good defender, so he ticks an awful lot of boxes.
'As you can see from YouTube he's a character as well, so you welcome that and relish people like that being around.'
Foley added, 'He's signed for us for two years - whether he stays longer will be a decision for later - but hopefully by the end of two years he'll be a better player for Munster than he was when he first came over. That's our challenge too.'
Salli has Jerry Maguire's Rod Tidwell down to a tee but how would he handle Ireland's greatest screen star?
