It has been reported that Leinster and Ireland star Ciarán Frawley will be moving to Connacht next season.
Bernard Jackman revealed the news on the42's Rugby Weekly Extra podcast, and it is understood that Frawley will be looked at mainly as an out-half with his new side.
The 28-year-old has shone at No 10 in the past - most notably coming off the bench to help beat the Springboks in 2024 - but plays mostly at inside centre for his province, while he is adept at fullback as well.
With the return of Harry Bynre to Leinster, his chances at 10 will continue to be limited until he makes a move, and Irish fans were delighted at the news, with a sense that he will be able to fulfil his potential at Connacht.
The Skerries man has won 177 caps for Leinster and has appeared 9 times for Ireland.
Also he has good Munster connections with his father being from Clare. Hope it works out for him in Connacht, as he has been treated very unfairly in Leinster
