2 Tap was outstanding tonight

Ireland’s Neil Seery was simply amazing in Stockholm tonight

2 Tap put on a striking and jiu-jitsu clinic to hand Chris Beal his first professional loss inside a cage. Beal, who was 10-0 coming into this bout, dropped down from bantamweight to face the Irish MMA veteran.

Seery comprehensively out-struck the much bigger Beal over three rounds to earn a dominant decision victory. The judges scored the fight 30-27, 30-27, 29-28 giving the former Cage Warriors champion his second win under the UFC banner. He’ll surely be facing a ranked opponent in his next trip to the Octagon.

Perhaps the highlight of the fight was this incredible guillotine attempt by Seery. To Beal’s credit, he showed great heart to stay conscious while the Dubliner appeared to have the submission locked in. Beal somehow managed to escape the hold and the fight went back to the feet.
