Mixed success at the UFC Stockholm weigh-ins for Paul Redmond and Neil Seery

Both Irish representatives competing in tomorrow evening's UFC on Fox: Gustafsson v Johnson weighed in this afternoon but one failed to make the limit.

Flyweight Neil Seery (14-10) opens up proceedings for the Swedish event as he takes on unbeaten bantamweight Chris Beal who makes the drop to face the Irishman. "2 tap" weighed in bang-on 125lbs, with his opponent making the appropriate weight of 126lbs ahead of what promises to be an exciting scrap.

Meanwhile Paul "Redser" Redmond was attempting the cut to featherweight for the first time as he makes his UFC debut on just two weeks notice. Redmond (10-4) weighed in at 149lbs, 3lbs over the featherweight limit for his bout against unbeaten Bosnian Mirsad Bektic. "Redser" decided not to re-weigh and will take a percentage fine from his purse.
