Conor McGregor could find himself in hot water.

McGregor took almost everybody by surprise by arriving unannounced at the Barclays Centre on Thursday afternoon.

As the UFC 223 media day was wrapping up, ‘The Notorious’ made his presence felt by storming the venue which will host this weekend’s card in Brooklyn, where the new UFC lightweight champion will be crowned.

McGregor clearly hasn’t taken too kindly to claims from UFC President Dana White that he will no longer hold the 155lbs title but he’s definitely crossed a line with his behaviour.

With former opponent Max Holloway and fierce rival Khabib Nurmagomedov set to do battle for the lightweight crown, McGregor kicked right off as he pursued the fighters while they attempted to leave the venue and return to their hotel.

The Irishman, along with his sizeable posse, were directed down an elevator to where the buses were collecting those involved on the UFC 223 card.

Things quickly got out of hand as McGregor’s crew attacked a bus with guard rails and folding chairs, as captured by UFC strawweight Felice Herrig, who was in a different coach.

MMA Fighting reporter Ariel Helwani has claimed that the bus which was attacked was the very one in which Nurmagomedov, who was involved in an altercation with McGregor’s training partner Artem Lobov earlier this week, was travelling.

UFC lightweight Michael Chiesa was reportedly injured in the attack but, at the time of writing, it remains unknown how serious the injury is or if Chiesa will be able to compete against Anthony Pettis in just two days’ time.
