Conor McGregor has arrived in Brooklyn and there’s been an incident already

It’s all kicking off.

We knew Conor McGregor wasn’t in a great mood today. Late last night, the Irishman responded aggressively to Dana White confirming that he will be stripped of his UFC Lightweight title.

Now, it looks as though he’s taken it a step further. According to MMA Fighting reporter Ariel Helwani, McGregor arrived at the Barclays Center with members of his entourage to crash the end of the UFC 223 media day ahead ofKhabib Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway’s headlining bout for the lightweight belt.

Helwani said there was an altercation as a van attempted to drive some fighters away. He has also been told that Michael Chiesa has suffered ‘a laceration’ during the incident.

Footage has emerged of McGregor storming in on the media day below. There is no sound and it does not appear to contain footage of the altercation.

The footage comes from MMAnytt.se’s Jim Edwards.

Here is another clip, allegedly of McGregor and his entourage causing trouble backstage. Some are suggesting that McGregor is the one throwing the railing in the footage below, but it’s far from conclusive.

And in the clip below, McGregor seemingly throws something at the coach carrying a number of UFC fighters.

There has also been, unsurprisingly, some brilliant responses to the developing story on Twitter. Our favourite? This one below of nWo.

With McGregor in town ahead of UFC 223 on Saturday night, it’s safe to assume we haven’t seen the end of the altercations.
