Anyone who was present at the MGM Grand, on July 11, will remember the moment forever.

Sinead O'Connor delivered a stunning performance of 'The Foggy Dew' to welcome Conor McGregor to the 17,000 MMA fans packed inside the Las Vegas arena. The Notorious then went on to defeat Chad Mendes and claim the UFC Interim Featherweight belt. Beginning the promotional rounds for The Ultimate Fighter 22 and UFC 194, where he will face Jose Aldo in a belt unification bout, McGregor gave a further insight into his entrance song. Apparently, it was his idea to get O'Connor to serenade him to the octagon. The idea, he adds, was spawned after he claimed victory at UFC Dublin in 2014. McGregor said, 'Sinead is a powerful woman, she has a powerful voice. When you listen to her music it's eerily beautiful. It's go to war music.' https://youtu.be/mS1tVMXYPEI
