Video: Edwin Van Der Sar plays swimming pool head-tennis with the Kilkenny hurlers

The All-Ireland champions ran into the Dutch legend in Miami

Neil Treacy

Dutch legend Edwin Van Der Sar has been holidaying in Miami recently, and he was lucky enough to bump into All-Ireland hurling champions Kilkenny by the poolside.

The former Ajax, Juventus, Man United and, eh, Fulham keeper was clearly so excited by the presence of the hurling kingpins, that he persuaded them to join him for a game of head-tennis in the swimming pool.

The Kilkenny squad are on a holiday celebrating another Liam McCarthy trophy in 2014, and despite the county not being too famous for their skills with the large ball, they make a good hand at a game of keepy-uppies with the goalkeeping legend.
