The GAA community comes together once again
Wonderfully observed minutes silence before the @Connollys_Gaa match this evening! Rest in Peace all those killed in Tunisia on Friday

Joel Richards, 19, had proved himself to be among the most popular members of the James Connolly GAA club, and who could tell if someday he would not have played in Croke Park with his club or county Warwickshire.
However any of his dreams were cruelly cut short last week as he, along with his uncle Adrian Evans and grandfather Patrick Evans, were caught up in the horrendous terrorist attack on the beach in Sousse, Tunisia on June 26.
The popular trainee teacher was an active member of the small GAA club, and had represented both his club and his county over the last number of years.
On Tuesday night the club paid a wonderful tribute before their game with John Mitchels of Liverpool which was originally due to go ahead last Sunday but had been called off as a mark of respect.
The club flew their Irish flag at half-mast as well as holding a minute’s silence while both clubs put their sporting rivalry to one side to honour a friend to many.
An emotional night for our club, as we keep the Richards and Evans family in our thoughts. pic.twitter.com/MdaSvm3NQT

The visiting club also brought along their own wreath to present to the club.
