Clare overcame Dublin yesterday - 0-29 to 0-16 - in their All-Ireland SHC clash at Semple Stadium yesterday.
However, the win was marred by a serious injury to Banner man David Reidy, after a high hit from Dublin's Brendan Kenny.
Kenny was shown a straight red card before Reidy was stretchered off the pitch after receiving lengthy treatment.
Thankfully, Reidy has been released from hospital after being kept in hospital during the night.
The Clare county board said: “Clare hurler David Reidy has been released from hospital and is recovering well following the injury he sustained in yesterday’s game."
After the game, his teammate Shane O'Donnell - who has suffered from head injuries himself - said: “It was scary enough. Fortunately, I think he will be okay. We’ll see in a few days, but he looked better than he did in the first 30 seconds of it.”
