Poor old Alin Seroni probably felt bad enough when his lounging slide tackle caused this nasty, nasty injury.
The FC Viitorul Constanta defender saw red - after a second yellow, mind you - for catching Nicusor Bancu with an horrendous ankle and leg breaker in the Romanian Cup.
But then he was hit with a retrospect 16-game ban for the challenge.
Granted, the injury is horrific but, after a few winces, we've manned up in the SportsJOE Towers, watched it again and it seems as though the lad was genuinely reaching for the ball.
Surely the punishment is excessive? What do you think?
