Corinthians defeated Rovers 3-1 in the the U18A final at Turner's Cross, on Sunday afternoon. There were ugly scenes that occurred in injury time and at the end of the game, as players and supporters of both the Cork and Limerick teams clashed.
The brawl was sparked by referee Darren O'Rourke, who sent a player from each team off towards the end of the game. Barry Cotter added: "…a fair and full investigation will take place immediately once we get the referee's report."
College Corinthians and Pike Rovers have not commented on the incident.
