SUNDAY TV GUIDE – Why be social when there’s an absolute feast of sport to gorge yourself on?

It’s a busy day.

Sunday is a bumper filled day for sport. GAA is in full swing, football season ends and all in all there is a lot on the line.

Here is what you should be keeping on eye on.

Celtic v Hearts Sky Sports 2 12:30

A team hasn’t gone undefeated domestically in Scotland since 1899, Celtic have the opportunity to do that against Hearts on Sunday afternoon.

Mayo v Sligo RTÉ 2 2 pm

Mayo and Aidan O’Shea have faced some heavy criticism this week and will look to silence the doubters as they face Sligo in their first championship game of the season.

Liverpool v Middlesbrough Sky Sports 1 3 pm

Watford v Manchester City Sky Sports 2 3 pm

The race for the top 4 goes right down to the wire as Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are all looking to secure a place in next season’s competition.

Pick one to watch.

Cork v Tipperary 4pm RTÉ 2 4pm

Cork will look to upset the odds by dumping out the reigning All Ireland Champions in the quarter final of the Munster Hurling Championship.

Malaga v Real Madrid 7 pm Sky Sports 1

Barcelona v Eibar 7 pm Sky Sports Mix

The title race in Spain goes down to the wire, if Real Madrid draw or better they will win their first league title since 2012, if they lose and Barcelona wins they will defend their crown.

Sunday Game RTÉ 2 9:30pm

It’s back. Michael Lyster will return to present highlights of all the weekend’s GAA action including the two matches mentioned earlier and Monaghan v Fermanagh.

AT&T Byron Nelson Sky Sports 4

World number one Dustin Johnson and World number four Jason Day are playing over stateside. Coverage will go on until close to midnight so it can cap off a day on the couch watching sport.
