The schedule of sport on tv this weekend is a sick joke

SportsJOE

There won’t be a job done on Saturday and it’ll be Pot Noodle for dinner on Sunday.

And to be quite honest about it, that’s absolutely fine by us. The amount of live sport on tv this weekend is a sick joke. The Dublin Racing Festival, the Six Nations, the Premier League…we haven’t even mentioned the Superbowl.

Word of warning. Sticking with it is going to be a slog, it’s going to be gruelling and it will test your staying power like laps in the February puddles. But there’s no Sunday morning training these days and you’ve enough to contend with anyway in 24 hours of wall-to-wall sport over a Saturday and Sunday bonanza.

Get your boots on!
