Dingle are the Munster SFC Club champions, after defeating St Finbarrs by 1-18 to 0-20 at Semple Stadium this afternoon, and will go on to face Ballyboden in the All-Ireland semi-finals.
However, the game finished in controversial circumstances after a two-point free from Conor Geaney won the match with virtually the last kick of the game.
Barrs' Ian Maguire was penalised in the opposition half while in possession, although the decision could have gone either way, before the free was then advanced 50 metres when it was deemed that Barrs were preventing Dingle from getting the ball back.
However, it appeared that they were returning the ball, and the aggression from Dingle made it look worse.
Many watching were not pleased.
One user wrote: "How sickening to listen to that Bostoon of a Kerry man chairman of Munster GAA, and he lauding the "new rules" and the referee. No way was that game finished fairly today. The Barrs were robbed in plain daylight. Robbed."
Another commented: "Robbery. That end should sicken everyone that loves Gaelic football A poxey 2 point free brought up for not giving the ball back wrong, wrong , wrong".
