Vacuum cleaning, or hoovering as ever single Irish person calls it, is an important household chore.
No one wants loads of dust piling up in the corner.
It’s a simple matter of hygiene after all.
But you would think that footballers at a professional level would not need to use their social media profile to try and hawk a vacuum cleaner given to them by a sponsor.
But Icarus-like Freddy Adu has fallen so far, so fast, that the former teenage sensation, posted this to his Twitter last night.

He really looks like he’s putting his back into it doesn’t he.
Tragic.

In case you were wondering, Adu was last seen footballing for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the North American Soccer League.
According to Wikipedia he scored zero goals in eight appearances. Not exactly hoovering up the chances.
