The German said admitted Hannibal Mejbri, Alvaro Fernandez, and Alejandro Garnacho all could make an appearance at Old Trafford.

“It’s possible, we have quite a few players missing tomorrow, one or two still with question marks,” Rangnick said ahead of Chelsea.

“I already played Hannibal at Liverpool, so it’s possible, but we have to be fair enough to those players.”

Rangnick wants to introduce the youngsters at “the right time.”

Rangnick emphasised the importance of playing the youngsters at “the right moment” despite United losing three of their last four games.

The 63-year-old revealed the Red devils only have 14 senior players available for the Chelsea match, therefore the younger players will be involved.

“It has to be the right moment. They should have the chance to play well and perform well, and it should be the right moment,” Rangnick added.

“We will try to play the best possible team, right now we have 14 in our pro team and the youngsters available and three or four players will be part of the squad.”
