Jose Mourinho IS set for Old Trafford in the near future… but it’s not what you might think

Back in the dugout

So, Jose Mourinho will be managing the home team at Old Trafford very soon.

Unfortunately for those Manchester United supporters that want him to replace Louis van Gaal, this isn’t the announcement they’ve been waiting for.

Instead, Mourinho is wanted to manage the England team in this year’s Soccer Aid on June 5.

The charity event, which sees an England team made up of celebrities and ex-professional footballers take on a similar Rest of the World team, usually takes place at Old Trafford immediately before a major international tournament.

This could well be Mourinho’s first time in the stadium’s home dugout, although if reports on Friday evening are to be believed, he may be occupying it even sooner.

Here’s what happened the last time he was involved.
