“I think it’s disgusting what they’re doing to him.”
TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has slammed Man United’s treatment of Jadon Sancho, saying that it has been “cruel” and “disgusting.”
Sancho has been forced to train on his own, away from the rest of the team, as a form of punishment for posting comments on social media.
The English winger was replying to Erik ten Hag’s claims that he wasn’t conducting himself properly in training, by posting on ‘X’ saying that he was being used as a “scapegoat.”
The United manager didn’t take kindly to this, and has banished the former Dortmund star to train in exile for a period of time, but not everyone agrees with the Dutchman’s actions.
Sancho has struggled to find his feet in the Premier League since his transfer to United back in 2021 that cost more than £70m.
A combination of poor form, bad luck, injuries and mental health struggles have meant that he has yet to really nail down a place in the team.
“What they’re doing to him is disgusting.”
“I’ve had this. It’s the worst feeling ever. You’re made to feel like you mean nothing.”

After United’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal, a match that Sancho wasn’t even in the squad for, ten Hag said afterwards that he hadn’t trained to the ‘level required’.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, former Tottenham star O’Hara, took issue with the club’s treatment of the young star.
“I think it’s disgusting what they’re doing to him. I know he’s come out and made a statement, whether that was the right thing to do or not … but was it right of Ten Hag to dig him out when he wasn’t even involved with the group?”
“What they’re doing to him right now is never going to get Jadon Sancho back to his best. All you’re going to do is mentally damage the football player and make him feel worse than he already does.
“I’m sure Jadon Sancho is struggling right now. He’s already had mental health issues.
“If Manchester United can come out and say they’re mental health ambassadors and they do all this stuff about mental health around their group and community and then do that to their own player, they should be ashamed of themselves.
“They shouldn’t be doing that in this day and age, we all know it’s gone on in the past, but you can’t do it anymore, especially to a young player who’s already been through mental health struggles.”
Man United take on Brighton this weekend, and it’s unlikely that Sancho will be involved in the team, despite the fact that Antony, who plays in a similar position, is currently suspended while investigations continue around an alleged domestic abuse case with the player.
