Spanish newspaper Marca has launched a sensational attack on Real Madrid, describing him as a 'Welsh parasite' and accusing him of 'sucking Real Madrid's euros.' Bale has been the victim of heavy criticism during his time in Spain - despite winning 14 trophies with Madrid - and is expected to leave on a free transfer in the summer.

The 32-year-old's recent years at Los Blancos have been marred by constant injuries, less-than-impressive performances on the pitch, and his off-pitch commitments which have angered the club's supporters. Marca in particular have been particularly critical of the Welshman during his Real Madrid career and hit out once again - this time more brutally than ever.

Journalist Manuel Julia Dorado shockingly compared Bale to a parasite and judging by the rest of the piece, will be keen to see the back of the 32-year-old once he leaves the club.
