So it begins...

After a few months without a club, Emmanuel Adebayor is busily Googling his new teammates at Crystal Palace.

While the Togolese striker hasn’t even kicked a ball in Palace colours yet, his new manager has already made it clear that he could leave the club when his six-month contract ends.

“There is nothing in place for the season’s end – we’ll be in a difficult position if he does terrific,” said Alan Pardew.

“The future is very much open for Ade and that’s why it’s a big opportunity for him. He needs to get his career back on track and he needs to show people.

“I think he could play for another very, very big club actually, if we can get him up to speed.

“If that was the case then I’ll certainly shake his hand and wish him well.”

The 31-year-old has already played in the Premier League for Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham, as well as a brief loan spell at Real Madrid.
