Taylor outclassed Connor and cruised to victory in what was her fourth title defence.
Connor (13-4-2) is a fan of the Bray native, and although she was on the receiving end of the Olympic gold medalist's handy work, she met with Taylor in her dressing room after the fight and praised her for her progress in the women's sport.
"You’re living my dream, you know and I’m really proud of you."

Taylor acknowledged the praise and told Connor that her compliment meant a lot to her.
Her promoter Eddie Hearn said after the win that she should be a worldwide star and that she will return to the US for her next bout after fighting on the undercard of Dillian Whyte's win over Joseph Parker in London.
"Forget all this men's boxing and female boxing," Hearn said after the fight in the O2 Arena."She's one of the biggest stars in the entire sport."She's fighting in the US next. She should be a worldwide star."
